Plants and Ecosystems

Join me as I learn about the plants and ecosystems in the northwoods and how to preserve them while also developing a space and property to live on. 

Water Trails

The property borders state land that holds the Pine and Popple River. This will track the changes in water and seasons not only on the Popple River, but the waterways that feed into the Popple. 

Dogs and Creatures

The dogs help keep me sane and believe they are the protectors and sole owners/beings on the property. They are fun to watch explore!

Building and Development 

What needs a permit and what doesn't? How long does it take to find a builder or get a well dug? I will map the process out here and in the blog as I learn.
